Dr. Alfred C. Myaing, MD
Dr. Alfred C. Myaing brings unmatched expertise and dedication to his practice. He graduated from the Institute of Medicine in Rangoon, Burma, in 1968, before completing a rotating internship at Somerset Teaching Hospital in Somerville, NJ, from July 1970 to June 1971. His Internal Medicine training continued at Doctors Hospital, Georgetown University Hospital, and George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., from July 1971 to June 1974. During this period, Dr. Myaing also served as Chief Medical Resident at Doctors Hospital from July 1973 to June 1974, where he was honored with the Leon Gordon Award in 1974. Dr. Myaing went on to complete a prestigious Cardiology fellowship at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ, from July 1974 to June 1976. He has since been practicing medicine at several respected hospitals, with affiliations at Alexandria Hospital, Fairfax Hospital, and Mount Vernon Hospital, where he has dedicated over 54 years of service to patient care. Fluent in both English and Burmese, Dr. Myaing is committed to breaking down language barriers to provide exceptional patient care. His passion for medicine is reflected in his ongoing acceptance of new patients and diverse insurance plans, ensuring accessibility for all. He's also the Author of the upcoming book " Prescriptions for Life " 50 plus years of Experience and Wisdom as a Physician in one book.
